Ghost Hot Sauce
No need to hire ghost hunters to track down the source of this heat. Some of our fans, the true “hot heads”, wanted us to make a hot sauce that had a little more kick. We used the Bhut Jolokia, or Ghost Pepper, as a base for our newest sauce. The heat is haunting, but not overpowering. And just like the rest of our Hot Sauces, we managed to balance heat and flavor.
We used the Bhut Jolokia, or Ghost Pepper, as a base for our newest sauce. The heat is haunting, but not overpowering. And just like the rest of our Hot Sauces, we managed to balance heat and flavor. When it first hits your tongue, expect a tangy bite with notes of garlic and onion. A haunting heat slowly develops and soon makes you aware of its presence, one that will stay with you for a while.
The color of this sauce can vary slightly based on the ripeness of the ingredients.

We found Chiporro through a hot sauce club, and we are now loyal patrons. The ghost hot sauce is very spicy but the flavor is so nice. I like it most on pizza and on different kinds of sandwiches (cold cuts, BLTs, etc.). But, you can literally add this sauce to anything. It would make an awesome chicken wing sauce, but we haven’t made that yet..that’s up next! Thank you Chiporro and Chef Carlos! Happy holidays from Kentucky!
It has a great flavor but still manages to bring the heat.
The hotter a hot sauce gets, the less flavor it has. Chef Carlos has somehow figured out a way to still pack a ton of flavor into a super hot sauce. For the experienced Chili-head, this is the perfect combo. Love it!
